To recognize academic excellence while fostering community service and leadership. Members are expected to uphold the four pillars of Character, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service as role models in both the school community and community-at-large.
Member Expectations
National Honor Society membership requires a cumulative, un-weighted grade point average of 3.5 or above. Each member of the National Honor Society is required to perform 30 hours of community service a year and uphold the four pillars.
Application Process
1. Invitation based on appropriate GPA of 3.5 2. Character evaluations performed by current classroom teachers 3. Required community service hours verified 4. Provide brief summaries of leadership roles and recommendations from teachers and community members
